Moved to archive/on-the-word-ladder.md.** The mode-entry "ladder/rung/climb" sense it flagged is retired (issue #90): mode entry is now stated in lens vocabulary — the three lenses (Klir→Core, Bunge→Structural, Mobus→Operational), a meet-semilattice, "enter the Bunge lens" / "satisfy the Bunge precondition", never a rung to climb. For the honest lattice statement see theory-fidelity.md and kernel-architecture.md; the archived doc remains the concordance for the words that legitimately survive (the compose dependency ladder, the per-edge classification, project-phase "rung").
